First aid is an important and life-saving skill. At GEM, they pride themselves on providing life-saving training to both adults and children.
This summer holiday of 2023 they are running their family first aid sessions allowing families to take part in learning new first aid skills or refreshing current knowledge.
This workshop includes both their First Aid for Parents, Grandparents & Carers course and their First Aid Workshops for Children.
Parents/ Carers will learn/refresh in a range of subject areas including Resuscitation, Choking, Bleeding, Seizures and Meningitis.
The children will gain confidence to check if someone is responsive or breathing, deliver chest compressions and help someone who is choking, bleeding or suffering from a burn (children must be accompanied by an adult).
Date – Thursday 24th August 2023
Location– Mexborough Business Centre.
Time – 10 am-12 pm or 1 pm-3 pm (both sessions can accommodate up to 20 people)
