Unveiling Statue of the Poet Laureate Ted Hughes

Article by Mexborough Business Centre

Friday 23rd June, in the company of many renowned prize-winning artists, poets and actors, Ed Miliband unveiled the commemorative statue of the poet laureate, Ted Hughes.

The statue is sat on a bench, outside what was the boys entrance to the building, looking out to Denaby.

The bench sits amidst an expertly pruned and beautifully presented landscaped area, with smart clipped borders, sheen looking green grass and expertly placed and smoothed patio stones, a scene created by N & S group’s skilled Ground’s Maintenance team.
