FireFly Craft Fayre

Article by Mexborough Business Centre

On the 23rd of May, 2018, between 10.00am and 3.00pm, Mexborough Business Centre are proudly hosting a craft and plant fayre, organized by Sprotbrough ‘Knit and Natter’ ladies who will be selling their wonderful array of beautifully knitted gifts and clothing, including baby clothes, scarves, hats, slippers, dog coats, coin holders and arran knits for toddlers in support of Firefly Cancer Awareness and Support.

All proceeds will be donated to Firefly Cancer Awareness and Support, a local charity launched by Channel 4’s Secret Millionaire back in 2009 to ferry 35-40 patients to and from their daily appointments at Weston Park Hospital in Sheffield, using suitable people carriers and willing volunteers.

If you can make the time, please pop along to have a look through the stalls…. everything is uniquely handmade and lovingly produced to support this worthwhile cause. Almost all of us know someone who has been touched by cancer and this is an opportunity to help those who would otherwise struggle to make their all-important cancer treatment appointments.

Please come along or even better, get involved. If you’d be willing to donate your time or host a stall yourself, please contact us at Mexborough Business Centre on 01709 583708 or 01709 590005
