The first of its kind anywhere in the world, courtesy of Doncaster Business, the Google bus will be making a stop here at Mexborough Business Centre carpark on Monday October 9th between 10.00am and 18.00pm. Please come along!

As part of a unique tour, launched in Sheffield during the summer, the bus is based on Google’s Digital Garage initiative, offering free workshops and face-to-face coaching. Businesses and members of the public can simply drop by for on-the-spot help. The bus provides beginner to intermediate levels so that everyone can take part, covering topics such as taking first steps onto the internet, CV building, social media strategy for businesses and protecting your data online.

Mexborough Business Centre are enthusiastic about any opportunity to promote local education and provide businesses with the tools to increase their trade. Previous research carried out by IPPR North found that more than 88 per cent of attendees of previous Digital Garages have changed the way they run or promote their business online, with 68 per cent saying they had seen positive results in increased sales, bookings, web traffic or social media after attending Google’s free training.
