Meeting with Ed Miliband MP and Local Councillors

Pete Newman, owner of Mexborough Business Centre recently attended a meeting with Ed Miliband MP, his team and Mexborough First Councillors Sean Gibbons, Andy Pickering and Bev Chapman at Mexborough Business Centre.

During the meeting it was discussed ways to encourage and centralise local projects, groups and businesses to improve the availability of much needed services to Mexborough and surrounding areas.

Pete Newman, along with the Mexborough First Councillors are members of the Mexborough Business Forum, which is based at the Mexborough Business Centre.

The Mexborough Business Forum was formed to bring local business owners together to discuss different projects and ideas on how to improve the local economy and by working with the local Mexborough Academy and organisations such as WorkWise and LifeSkills to discuss and maximise opportunites for the young people in the area.
