The launch of The Raven Gallery at Mexborough Resource Centre

Article by Mexborough Business Centre

We are proud to announce that Thursday 29th of August 2019 saw the launch of The Raven Gallery at Mexborough Resource Centre.

The gallery space was donated by Peter Newman, the owner of both Mexborough Business Centre and Mexborough Resource Centre and will be run by Peter Olding, a local artist, who will be exhibiting his artwork on many different themes.

It was great to welcome Ian Parks, a local poet plus other invited guests to help launch the gallery.

The gallery is a welcome addition to the Resource Centre, which has been going from strength to strength since our acquisition in 2018 and along with free training across two floors, music tuition and the home of a beautician, the centre is once again thriving and offering much-needed help to the community.

The opening hours of the Gallery are Monday, Friday and Saturday 10 am till 1 pm and it is open to the public.
