Training Providers Required

Article by Mexborough Business Centre

Are you a training provider looking for space at highly competitive rates with top class facilities?

Look no further than Mexborough Business and/or Mexborough Resource Centre! We have several rooms of varying sizes at both sites, set up for training purposes, available for day-to-day or block bookings. All courses are advertised and publicised through our social media and business networks. Additional equipment can be provided such as screens, projectors, speakers, flipcharts and PCs and we can source many other items, if necessary.

Providing Training Space

We are delighted to provide space to Cidori, Free2Learn, Portland Training and Jeeprail. These companies provide specialist training for careers in care work, railway, construction and security. We are also eager to forge new relationships with trainers and training providers, so we can offer people access to even more industry areas, to enable greater opportunities for more learners. If you train with us regularly, we give your organisation the option to display your own branding and professionally personalise the rooms you use accordingly. This makes it look and feel more like your own space and encourages an environment of partnership between our centre and our training providers.

We hope to offer courses for career expansion, enhancement and development, cross-skilling and upskilling, as well as creating completely new careers for people right across the job markets. We believe self-improvement is the key to changing the face of disadvantaged communities, bringing positive change through education. We are appealing to training organisations and individual trainers or tutors who are interested in making a difference in this part of the country.

Ideal Location for a Training Venue

The centres are ideal locations for training venues. We are located at a crossroads between the cities of Doncaster, Barnsley and Rotherham. We have ample space for parking at the Business Centre, which is just around the corner from the Resource Centre. We’ve recently installed Super High-Speed internet and there is a new internal coffee shop, where candidates can buy food at a 10% discounted rate. All food is fresh, homemade and locally sourced, where ever possible.

As the longest established training provider to utilise Mexborough Business Centre, Cidori currently offer free training for individuals actively seeking employment, to provide the necessary skills and knowledge to assist them in their search. Their courses enable learners to gain a CSCS card or a rail engineering qualification, both essential for careers within construction or on the South Yorkshire railways.

Pete Freakes, Yorkshire’s Employment Manager for Cidori, commented “We operate 16 sites across the region, and this is by far the most outstanding. The team cannot do enough for us to ensure we have all the resources that we need.”

So, if you are looking to expand your current training space, or wish to offer courses in this part of the county, please contact us.
